It certainly has been a while since my last post. I have seriously intended to contribute more but work has been super busy and a lot of my focus has been shifted with regards to scripts and coding projects of work.
I am trying to stick to learning Python in 2020 – this is an on again off again project though. I have recently been introduced to Dan Bader and his Python tutorials. The majority of it appears to be over YouTube, which works for me as I can be quite a visual learner.
Something completely off-topic from the above:
When it comes to WordPress and SSL – having the home/site URL set to https:// as opposed to https:// can have a significant impact on the site, causing SSL errors along with CORS errors left right and center. CORS errors: Cross-Origin Resource Sharing – Mozilla have an article that covers this – can often be a result of this conflict between protocols.
We are now in an era where Google dictates the beat of the drum when it comes to SEO and other facts, including your site will be mud if it does not have an HTTPS certificate.
